Jelly Grip for My Decimo

This may be blasphemy and definitely takes away the sleek look of the Decimo. But ooh, it sure makes for a comfy writing session!

It's the PaperMate Grips. Stretchy, smooth, and cushiony. The clip still works. Added bonus is that the clip position no longer gets in the way.

I've always been partial to grips for pencils and pens --- for comfort as well as for personalization. Couldn't use them with fountain pens with caps but fine with capless.

Plus makes for the wider grip which is easier on my hand.

  1. I just found your postings about pens! I have the ultimate PEN addiction! I'm a nurse...and I have 100's if not 1000's of PENS, PENCILS, WRITING instruments of every type! Looks like we have quite a few things in common! oh yes, and I like journals, and Moleskines...and writing...etc etc etc...

  2. Ahhh, pens and journals. Sigh. One of these days, I'll post a picture of my UNused journals. You'd think I'm stockpiling for the day when paper goes out of style. I still have to work up the gut and guilt-shield to take that picture. Last count, I have enough Miquelrius Leather-Like Grid notebooks to last about 10 years. Yet, I still browse and look for sales. At least, I manage to not buy any new journals for about 4 months now. I still do window shopping though :) esp. now with all the 2010 planners out!

You probably know this, but one problem with our work is that we are more or less computerized with electronic records. So not as much opportunity to use our pens. That's why I use whatever chances I have to use notebooks. I keep track of my miles on RunningAhead site and on this blog but I also use an old Quo Vadis as a running journal. Clip and paste stuff into it --- kinda like a scrapbook.

Sometimes I think I took up running to break my addiction to pens and journals! Apparently, I just replaced one addiction with another :) At least running gets me up and about.

  3. I'm the same way. Pens and paper. I've been this way since I was a little girl. I remember my Dad would bring me to the grocery store on Saturday mornings. I always ALWAYS strayed straight to the stationery section of the store. It is still this way! No matter what store, I'm always found looking at the latest pens/pencils/journals/notebooks...and...I always need MORE! LOL My poor kids...they always say, "MOM. NO. Don't go into that aisle"! (They know I'll be in there forever!) Back to School shopping has always been a favorite time of year. A perfect excuse/reason to purchase more! and more and more!...
