Trapped Kobi

Priscilla sent this picture from home. She walked into the laundry room to find Kobi under the laundry basket. Of course, she had to take a picture before setting him free :)

Crazy Kobi. He did not even try to get out.

Apparently, 3-year-old Danika claimed Kobi kept running away when she tried to play with him. Talk about a captive audience.

2009.06.30 Talked to Mom and it was Dad's way of crating Kobi temporarily. Kobi was running out onto the streets while they were working in the yard. Danika was explaining that Kobi was running away (true) and we just assumed he was running away from her. Sweet thing, Mom said Danika was quite sad about Kobi's "time out." She checked in on him but did not release him.

ScoopFree Slide

Finally got the manual version together for the cats. Also got the automatic version on sale but will wait to see how the litter crystals work before opening the automatic box.

The blue crystals look too pretty for the cats to pee on :). Hope the cats don't feel that way.

Elaine - Entertainment with a Kong Toy

Elaine keeping herself busy while I figure out where to put the ScoopFree for the cats.

Excuse the buzzing background noise. Brushing my teeth; you know, multi-tasking. :)

Sariah Taking Matters into Her Own Paws

Sariah decided to start unpacking the ScoopFree Litter Box herself.

Xander's turn ON the ScoopFree

Put away the camera and unpack this box already!

Waiting Line for ScoopFree Litter Box

Sure hope they all like the ScoopFree litter box for more than a perch :)
Lana claimed the top as Xander and Sariah waited for their turn.

Catnapping

Stayed up late the night before last (Sunday night) working on paperwork. Still did not finish when I went to bed at 2 am. Got up and back at the office by 7:30 am (office was closed so I was able to come in later than usual).

Busy day with records and administrative duties. Crashed for a nap in the office and woke up to see four of my five personal cats napping with me.

Closest to me is Panacea (black), Xander (orange), Sariah (grey tabby), and then Lana (calico).

Cosmic Cat Tuna Flakes

Learned of this product from a client. She was crumbling the tuna flakes in with the dry food for her geriatric cat.

We tried the tuna flakes this past week and the cats seem to really like them. A nice treat and a great way to stimulate an ailing appetite. Some research into the product is needed to make sure it's appropriate for most cats before recommending it to everyone.

Gross --- Clothes Dryer Maintenance

Well. The good news is we found out why our dryer was taking so long to dry the towels. We don't have to buy a new dryer. Yeah!

The bad news is it's time for the duct cleaning --- again. Seems we have to get the duct cleaning done more than 2 times a year due to all the pet hair. That is, unless the cleaning company forgot the dryer duct when they did the last cleaning.

The dryer is finally drying again. We bypassed the dirty duct and had the hot air vented directly out the back door.

Cleaning Elaine's Toothbrush

This one's being filed under ''Why didn't I think of this earlier?''

You know the white dried toothpaste stuff that get stuck between the bristles? It seems to remain no matter how much I rinsed the toothbrush after each use.

I accidentally left Elaine's toothbrush in a water cup after brushing her teeth this morning. I came back later to see all the white scum soaked off the brush --- see all the floaties in the cup.

Now, why didn't I know this before? All those brushes I tossed thinking they're too dirty and beyond cleaning!

Lucky - My Mom's Shepherd

I finally got a nice image of Lucky, my mother's shepherd. Technically, he's my brother-in-law's dog since my mom gave Lucky to him years ago.

Lucky was one of the three warehouse dogs at the market she worked at 7 years ago. He was a bully to the other dogs in the warehouse and was becoming undisciplined. When he was a year old, he was getting too big for the warehouse workers to ''handle'', if you get the drift. My mom talked the owner into letting her take him and he's been with her since --- being bullied by Kobi :).

A Little Snag in My New Scheme

So much for my bright idea of walking the dogs 5 am before going to work. Turns out Kobi may not be much of an early riser!
