Thumper's Feeling Better

Thumper continues to improve and is now up and prowling for his food.

The swelling by his right front shoulder and underarm is not as painful as last week. The warm compress seems to help. He's a good sport and tolerating (dare I say enjoying?) the warm compresses 2-3 times a day. Did the aspirate and no purulence so not an abscess as I feared. Seems to be more of an inflammatory reaction. Just worried that it seems to surround the lymph node. We'll give him some more time since the swelling has gotten smaller and he's improving. Hope we don't have to explore it.
