She didn't know what to do; just stood there frozen.
Then she realized the quicker she does her morning business, the sooner she gets back inside.
We waited for the rain to stop so we can go outside. But no such luck; it was raining even harder than this morning. Decided to dig out the reflective coat we got last year for the late night walks.
Don't think Elaine is too pleased even with the coat :)

Cute! Elaine doesn't look very happy! I haven't purchased a coat/jacket for Pearl yet...and have to get busy soon! It was 14°F for our run today. Brrrrrr! I'm looking for a nice, warm winter coat for her. Nothing seems quite like what I'm looking for! Gotta get the Muttluks coming my way, too!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how we humans pamper our pets these days? coat and boots...for a dog?!? :)
Great pics!
You went running in 14F? I can see now how cold weather running can require more overhead equipment. So much for lacing up and out the door, eh?
ReplyDeleteYeah...going for a run entails a lot of work!
ReplyDelete*Two pair wool socks
*Shoes
*YakTrax
*Tights
*Pants to go over tights
*base layer
*mid layer
*jacket
*balaclava
*thick headband
*warm hat to go over thick headband!
*gloves
Not to mention equipment like:
Garmin
Garmin HR monitor
Garmin footpod!
cell phone
*sometimes* an iPod, when running alone
That takes...FOREVER! I'm exhausted by the time I get ready to go out the door! LOL
